Assigning Actions to Keyframes

Once you master actions in both keyframes and buttons (see our tutorial on Assigning Actions to Buttons) you'll be able to harness the power of Flash and create like the best. So let get started and have a look at a demo of actions and keyframes at work...

We'll be trying to replicate this demo as a teaching point in this tutorial. Essentially an action placed in a keyframe would trigger when the playhead reached the frame. In the above example, the movie plays until frame 24 where it then jumps back to frame 1. It keeps on looping until you click on the circle where it then jumps to frame 25 and continues playing the rest of the movie.
